  Our experience at Long's was excellent! We worked with Rosette at the Burlington location to pick out my engagement ring. She was extremely friendly and helpful. She took the time to walk around the store with us looking at all the different options. I highly recommend Long's and will go back there for our wedding bands.

  Originally, I was going to write a positive review. When I was shopping for engagement rings, I spoke with Joe Bragdon about diamonds and purchasing a ring for my fiancee. Although I did not buy a ring there, he was helpful and very warm towards me. Long's Jewelers is not a commission based store and I think that allows them to be much less pushy than I noticed other salespeople being at other stores. For that reason, I took the ring that I purchased online at White Flash to Long's in Burlington for a resizing after proposing to my fiancee. And this is where my issue with the store happened. A resizing should be super simple for an experienced jeweler. I imagine it is one of the most common procedures that they perform. But when my fiancee got home from the resizing, she noticed that the center stone was not secure in the prongs. It was so loose that you could spin the diamond. She brought the ring back to the store the following day. They denied any mistake on their own part, saying that it was a problem with the manufacture of the ring and that the setting was meant for a diamond larger than the 1.2 carat stone that I bought. When I was in the store originally, Joe was fully prepared to sell me a 1.2 carat stone set in the same exact Ritani setting that I got from White Flash. So obviously, their claim that the stone was too small from the setting was complete BS to save face. To send a customer home with a loose center diamond is such an egregious error especially when it is more than likely the jeweler's fault. We were not refunded for the price of the resizing and they admitted no mistake on their part. I'll never return to their store and I'd recommend that you shop elsewhere also.

  Long's has been THE PLACE to go when it comes to quality jewelry. Not only do they have excellent standards but they have excellent employees. I have never had any issues with Long's Jewelers and I don't think I would ever go anywhere else now. My now husband got my engagement ring customized here 2 years ago and they were over the top helpful. We also got our 3 wedding bands here this year. I get complements all the time about the beauty of my rings. I pop into Long's all the time and they give me a complementary cleaning on my diamonds. They are always so nice and eager to help. My husband also got some of his gold family heirlooms fixed up and cleaned here and they came out like brand new. This place has exceptional staff and service always willing to help and assist you to find exactly what you want. They are not pushy at all. This Long's is amazing and I would recommend it to any future couple planning to buy rings and anyone looking for excellent quality jewelry.
